New LawBiz® Practice Management Program Geared Towards Advancing Women Lawyers Debuts in March 2015

LOS ANGELES, CA – September 24, 2014 – Nationally recognized legal management expert and author Ed Poll today announced the availability of a new program from the LawBiz  Practice Management Institute focused on driving success for women lawyers.

The Women's Leadership Program, developed and offered in conjunction with Rebecca Torrey, partner at Manatt Phelps & Phillips, is a unique one and a half day educational experience that combines a focus on the key aspects of law practice management, while highlighting many of the challenges faced by women as they advance in the legal profession.

"Women are increasingly making up a large percentage of lawyers, sole practitioners, and partners at larger law firms," said Poll. "While many of the skills required to build a successful law practice are not gender-specific, in many cases there are unique challenges faced by women as they advance in the profession. Our goal is to equip women lawyers with the tools they need to be successful in the increasingly competitive legal profession."

This is the second program offered by Ed Poll's LawBiz® Practice Management Institute. The initial Practice Management Program, held in 2012, received rave reviews from attendees.
